Recruitment is about “getting people”, reading them – and I’m really good at that. Yes, there is a process but instinct is a massive part of fitting the right people with the right organisations. It’s like professional matchmaking but without the hearts and flowers.

I have excellent networks. People come to me because they trust both my instincts and my discretion.

Because I want to keep working with you I’ll stay in touch. It’s important that this new relationship works – I’ll leave it to you to provide training and a proper induction – and I’ll do all I can to ensure that your new team member is communicating, committed and living up to your expectations.

If I need to get involved, I will. There’s a three-month guarantee period, but we all know that settling in takes longer for both parties.

There’s a high probability that you’ll enjoy working with me. I’m focused on delivery. I work hard behind the scenes while recognising that life is too short not to enjoy what we do and laugh at ourselves.

People can be wonderful to work with, but of course they can also be problematic. My focus is on finding you outstanding people, but a sense of humour is essential when dealing with the vagaries of the human condition.

SWR provides permanent recruitment services nationwide, covering the full employment spectrum from senior management to the factory floor.

Job Analysis

  • Before starting the recruitment process, SWR will spend some time talking about your business and the candidate you’re looking for.

Market Advice

  • You can expect frank feedback on the market and salary bands and expectations.

Advertising

  • There’s no charge for advertising unless you’re looking for an exceptional offshore campaign.
  • SWR will screen, reply to and update all candidates on your behalf.

Initial Interviews

  • SWR will interview each candidate as a first step.
  • SWR will then provide you with an initial report that includes their salary expectations, notice period, motivations for looking and interview availability.

Interview Coordination & Feedback

  • SWR will arrange interviews and provide feedback to both parties.

Reference Checking

  • Reference checks are thorough and our reports to you are honest. They reveal the good, the bad and the ugly…

Negotiation

  • SWR will manage the negotiation process on your behalf. Salary expectations are managed from the start and negotiations are transparent.

Inductions
